Mia & Eisley

So we got to keep Mia and Eisley this past weekend, we drove to Amarillo and picked them up so Jody and Sarah could have a weekend on a marriage retreat. We have keep Mia many times, but this was the first time that we have ever kept little Eisley. It was a blast. We put both girls in the same bedroom to sleep and it was fun standing by the door listening to them. They both go to bed so well, no fussing, no fighting, just "it bedtime" and they lay right down. Sometimes we could hear Mia talking to Eisley, reassuring her, and one time I caught her singing to Eisley. Both girls had fun at Mamaw and Papa's house, but they sure were excited to see mom and dad.
Thanks Jody and Sarah for trusting us with them. And thank you Lord for spouses that you gave to our kids, we now have 4 kids (no in-laws here), and thank you Lord for grandkids.

ya'll are also so blessed to have your family so close.

it sounds like Mia is a great big sister, a real tribute to her folks and grandfolks.

Very cute grandkids. All 3 of them. I sure pray Eisley doesn't act like her daddy even though she looks just like him.

Thank you for sharing your family with us.

Tammy has fixed us a BLOG and did a good job. Look at ours.

Love ya'll
